My name is Beat Schindler, has been for a considerable time.
Son, brother, father, and grandfather, and self-proclaimed maximalist, I have two birthdays – one in my passport, the other the day I re-discovered simple. I take both for real.
I was most successful when I was crumbling like a house of cards. There’s no success like failure, a paradox many are familiar with.
It was tough. How to get back up from down on the ground? How to rebound and bloom? It led me to study what separates the many from the few.
It’s simpler than what I had always been told. As I shared my experience with friends, I realized it is of value to other people, too. It’s what I write about, in Swinglish, a mix of Swiss and English.
I love nature, words, music, and the ability to communicate with the whole world. Most of all I love being with my family.
I dream of the History of the Word taught at school. It’ll change everything. In the meantime, I’m sharing my experience and ideas with all who will listen, via my writing, workshops, and keynotes.
